Sustainable barging
Our bunkering & transport fleet consists of 10 barges with a total capacity of 41,000 MT, including the diesel-electrically powered Ecotanker Amulet and Copenhagen. We also operate the Ecotanker II and III, the only two fully LNG-electrically propelled barges in Europe.
The entire fleet is double hulled and these inland vessels are widely deployable. Versatile barges equipped to deliver large quantities of fuel to seagoing vessels which are mainly active in the ARA area. These inland vessels are also used for transport between terminals located in the ARA area. They mainly transport black products.
AMS has various barges for the transport of white mineral products, chemicals & biofuels. These barges can be deployed in virtually all of Northern Europe to efficiently and safely transport liquid cargo. All barges are double hulled and built to the highest standards to ensure maximum safety.
TRANSPORT
The core business of AMS is the bunkering & transport of liquid hazardous products by waterways. With well-trained crew on board the ships, we take care of the transport of the liquid products.
